on the 124s there is

a link that is right in front of the wheels that is parallel front and rear that has two rubber bushes. these typically go bad fairly early on. and if loose everytime you accelerate or let off the rear wheel "steers" the car left or right. it is really noticalbe if you are romping on an entrance ramp and let off the gas.
