I used to have a 1990 Lexus LS400 too. I never had to buy parts for it though.
I wish I still had that car - BEFORE I had sold it. The girl I sold it to crashed it, then blew the engine.

A poster on a Lexus group was complaining about the cost of a brake pad wear sensor, $12.50! Mercedes is like a dollar.
Now Mercedes does have some mega-priced items but they seem to be readily available used on ebay.
