Issue 1. Cleared CEL, and added a little slack to the throttle cable. All's well after driving for a few miles.

Issue 2. Will let it sit overnight in an un-heated garage, where it should reach about 40F overnight. Tomorrow morning will see if the delayed upshift works or not.
