Yeah I used carb-cleaner on mine then my mom's virgin cooking oil on them during re-assembly. I had one that, as soon as it loosened a quarter turn, some funky yellow stuff came oozing out. It looked like someone had tried to use some kind of sealant.
Good thing it didn't work its way into the injector.
