THANKS, your discription was picture perfect! I drianed my PS pump this afternoon. I removed the filter and my filter was the paper variety. Unforunatly. I won't be able to get a replacement until Monday. I can't wait to see if this resolves my problem. the filter I removed is rather dirty.

In your post you mentioned your PS fluid was the color of honey, my is a very dark red. I suspect my started off as red and not honey. Is there one brand that maybe better than another?

Again, thanks for the input, it was excellant, I'll let you know how it turns out.
