I know that messing with the emissions is messing with the EPA, but they have little or no enforcement. It is just like my car with Euro headlights, I am breaking some Federal DOT rule but New York State could care less and I have never heard of any Federal DOT enforcement for private vehicles.

I know that even with the low sulfur diesel in Europe they still have catalysts on the diesels. I am not a proponent of more emissions, but I thnk the chances of getting caught for hollowing out your cat. in a state that has no emission regulations for diesels is negligable.

What kind of mileage are you getting?
