Engine oil prices have gone up a TON lately, our box of 6 gallons of dino Rotella we got for the SD's last year was about $27 at sams club, we just got another box a few weeks ago, and it was FOURTY SIX dollars.  thats nearly a 50% increase in price!! Thats $7.67 a gallon vs. $4.50 a year (barely) ago. The 5w30 valvoline dino gasser oil is about $9 a jug now too at autozone....the van only needs 1 gallon for a change though (4qt capacity) and they had a sale going on for $2 off oil if you bought a filter, plus 2 more dollars off if you got an air filter, which we were buying anyways. So we did the complete oil/filter/air filter change on our van for $16! Awesome! The diesels were about $24 apiece.....1.8 gallons of rotella + a $9 filter = $24ish....still not bad at all.
