Hey for future refrence, check the key on, engine off voltage for the air mass
specs are around .980 - 1.030
Anything above 1.030 is junk.
Changing the air filters on a 112/113 (C-E-S-CLK-CL) at mileage over 50,000 will kill the air mass, especially if the air filters are original and have never been changed. Air mass has a hard time calculating the new, unstrained amout of air, kills it instanly.
Just a note. Glad you got it fixed. Also, if it has not already happened, At that mileage, I would prepare for a crankshaft sensor: symptoms: dies when warm, reststart after a period of time.
