Saw an E220 CDI wagon today just outside WDC area ... diplomatic plates.

Followed him for about 50 miles - he was averaging 80 and accelerating very effectively from 75 to 85 when needed! I only saw a very tiny puff of exhaust once in the 50 miles of up and down hill driving.

I had heard that these are not imported ... assume the car could enter as long as it passed whichever state emissions, but would not be supported by MBNA?
