Too bad ya missed my 2000 540i. Sold it for $21,000 about a month ago. Absolutely the best 4 door car I have ever owned. Even better than the 97 540i I had before it.

The court is still out as to whether the 04 545i I bought to replace it is as nice a car.

The BMW will break and cost a bunch to fix, but there just isn't any comparison as a driving machine. A number of MBs go as fast, none have the presence on the road.
