Check the wire where it goes into the deck lid right above the hinge. Was told the other day that my center brake light wasn't working.
I thought I would have gotten a "bulb out"
light, but didn't.
Took the light assembly out and put twelve volts to it and all the lights lit. Checked for power at the plug and nothing. Checked for power at the wire as it starts up the hinge and had power.
Wires were completely broken off
at the end of the hinge where it enters the deck lid. Car only has 47 K on it and I was a bit surprised, but I do use the trunk a lot more than our other cars. Just some info to check your light, and if it's not working, this is a very probable cause.
