I need to replace the sunroof motor on my '86 420SEL. The question I have is: How do I separate the guide tube that the sunroof cable goes through from the motor assembly? I have removed the 2 bolts holding the motor to the frame of the car but I can't see what is holding the guide tube to the motor assembly. I have also removed the sunroof headliner to facilitate removing the cable (if necessary) and lubricating the various parts while I'm at it. Thank you.
