to elaborate

a bit.

the pad that is worn is doing all the work. the other side of the caliper is sticking and not working its share. so minimum replacing that caliper with a rebuilt. some folks recommend never replacing one caliper. i dont see how this is related to the hoses but if they are original it wont hurt to replace them.
