I'm with Brian Carlton's opinion, but adding that there are a number of us here who stuck it out to get a private pilot license.
It's a small group compared to the general population;those of us who are pilots who also appreciate/own/maintain fine quality MBs. I'm proud to be among you.

For those who aren't pilots here, most have taken their efforts and put them into just as challenging avenues of interest with good results. Most on this OD forum offer their expertise/opinions on whatever topic using thoughtful, polite, well written responses.
These things can't be said of other OD forums I've perused.

Just using IQ as a subject, I'm sure the average here is much higher than most other OD forums you'll run into, if you look around.

This place helps to make the Internet a nicer experience for me.
