Service advisors have never heard of anything. Trust me.

Floor pans and subframe are two different things. Your floorpans are your problem (and not really a big deal for a competent body shop). The subframe in question is what holds the front lower control arms in place. No one seems to be able to get a firm answer on free front subframe replacement under recall warranty.

FYI: Mine appears to have been replaced. Probably about 10 years ago when it had some minor accident repair and restoration work done.

EDIT: If your car is a gray-market car (which you state it is), all bets are off. No warranty because MBUSA did not import the car into this country.
