I have recently replaced all 6 speakers and the head unit in my 1993 190E 2.6. The Highs sound excellent, however I have no bass. I want to put a sub (maybe two 12's or a 15) in the trunk but I have been told that to do so would be a waste of time because of the metal plate in the trunk. Has anybody else encountered this problem or have any suggestions???
