Skyline is much better than Gold Star, and if you paid $9 for a three way you got screwed! I think they cost 4 bones or so. You can get frozen or canned chili for the home, so look in to it iffin ya got the jones for it.

Goetta is da bomb-Gliers is an excellent locally produced brand that I believe is available for shipping for you transplants. Graeters ships as well.

While I wouldn't necessarily agree our taste buds are dumbed down, the midwest diet is a little less eclectic than others, but hey we put chili on our spaghetti here.
