Look at the brake pad replacement article in the DIY section. Remove the pads from the calipers, clean off the backing plates and the areas where it contacts the calipers and apply the paste to the backing plate of the brake pads then put them back in the calipers. If they are cheap aftermarket pads, it will probably end up squeeling again after time.
