Hmm, interesting. The date code on the euro clear plastic heater controls match the date of the car. Those controls were not sold in the US and it is unlikely that someone replaced them with the same date code as the vehicle.

I have a shop manual CD. I will write down the vin & engine codes & figure out what the heck it is, then post back.
