Good point, that's a good cheap way to improve your cars appearance. I had my wheels powder coated (about $100 each), replaced the center caps, and added "chrome" covers to hide my lug bolts. For under $500 the car looks much better, even if you don't notice the wheels it just looks better overall.

I also replaced the faded headlight bezels, front corner lights, grill strips, and a fog light that looked "dull" inside. None of that stuff was really bad looking, but it just didn't look new. So for another $300, or so, the front of the car now looks much brighter.

Next, I need to visit the body shop and have all the little stone chips on the front cleaned up. It looks OK from 10 feet with touch-up paint, but it's starting to bug me. I'm also thinking about having all the wood redone, it's about 9/10 with a few little cracks in the finish, but it bugs me because I'm the one who has to look at it. I just don't know if it bugs me enough to spend $1000 on wood.
