Both MET and Progressive (and probably GEICO too, if I had to guess) use that LKQ criteria for replacement parts. In this case it's a 99 E300 TurboDiesel with 109k on the clock. So I'm definitely in the category that won't be getting brand new parts. I have high expectations of my body shop - they seem excellent and got glowing reviews from my mechanic. I hope they put up a good fight on my behalf. Gotta say I'm a little bummed to know that, through no fault of my own, I have to take some form of a loss on this thing.
