i am the schmengie who needs to replace his glow plugs. there is a recent missive to that effect here in the last couple of days. in fact, ordered them from phil this morning. $59.02 'for four for' (reads funny) my 240d. the old buggers failed the resistance test miserably. anywho, the purpose of this sillyness. car would not start, naturally. but it did start immediately when i had the block heater plugged in for an hour or so. this kinda suprised me.
