when automobile windows are tinted aftermarket,a heat gun is used to 'shape' the tint film to the contour of the glass.i read somewhere else online that certain mercedes models are equipped with glass that cannot have tint film installed in this manner,because of the glass used.i intended to install tint myself,but i do not have a problem having a professional do installation.i want it done right.but if i have to take to a professional,i also want to make sure they are aware of the proper model/glass identification.i do not know if anyone can help me with this,i do not want to blow up my windows at this time.i live in sunny florida,my interior is near perfect and i would like to reduce exposure and deterioration.thanks...
