I just found a Webasto WP1021 fuel powered heater in a euro gasser and pulled it for use in my diesel even if it means putting in a small gasoline tank. I was wondering if anyone out there has any literature associated with this unit? I can remember how to hook it up but I would rather have a full schematic so I can modify some of the functions. Perhaps there are some parts I could replace to use it on diesel? This unit solves the biggest problem I have had with the diesel - being stranded! It looked to be a factory option as the mounts for the unit were stamped with 126.xxx.xxxx.... and the installation looked professional. Even the timer control was fitted well. If anybody knows anything about these units or where I could find more information/parts it would be greatly appreciated!
(I believe it was option 228 on the 126)
