Having foreknowledge of the event and intentionally lying about it certainly makes him an accessory.
I tend to think that for being an accessory to 3,000+ murders, the death sentence is actually much too lenient.
I think he should endure 3,000 days of horrible, barbaric, medieval-style torture first. And force him to eat pork for every meal of every day.
Then we should let a WOMAN put a bullet in his head, just to add a final, sarcastic insult to the equation.
That's a good start.
