Mine too. When i flip the lever to high beam, the low beam headlights kick off and no high beams. I havent figured it out on my 89 190E yet, but I think it is the steering column switch. I will swap it out with another 190E and see if thats it. I guess the other really simple thing would be that it came unplugged under the dash somewhere.
