My clairvoyance tells me your problem is not amplification but filtering. You're getting interference because the phone isn't capable of discriminating the proper signal from the reflections.

If you buy an amplifier alone then wont it amplify the entire spectrum, not just the proper signal? Hmm, unless the amplifier antenna is outside.
