I was informed that I posted this in the wrong forum, hope this is the right one.

OK, I'm new here, and have searched but can't seem to find anything covering my problem.

I bought a '90 300e with 114k miles that had a few issues. One was that the heater doesn't heat, the other is that running the a/c when the car starts out the fan blows hard until about 40 mph then shuts down to low, when you stop and turn the ignition off then restart the same cycle is repeated. The A/C blows cold but the fan just is so slow that it can't keep the cabin cool, in Texas 100f.

The heater problem is probably a vacume issue, I've replaced the monovalve and the aux water pump but no go. I'll worry about that in November.
