I got multiple Malware viruses several months ago on my work computer....never used for surfing racy sites.

Anyway, Norton, adaware and many of the other spyware programs were totally ineffective.

Then I found these guys...Google "Geeks to Go" and follow their online tutorial. My hard drive had to go through multiple "cleansings" before the malware was finally killed and removed.
