I do have spare carbs and actually just pulled an extra set from a parts car today. Also because I need an exhaust manifold with a working preheat valve. The shaft for this is unfortunately not available from MB anymore.

Is the pump prone to wear? It appears to look okay. I'm considering testing the pump volume using kerosine (more friendly aroma). The piston seal is from "leather like" material with a spring inside.

The car has relatively low milage, around 75k miles.

How is your 600 project going?
