For some reason, I really want one. I'm not a workout buff, but, between the "no oil/gas to maintain" and "small garage footprint", I kinda dig'em (having not used one regularly before.
I got one (for free big surprise) from a friend at my guard base - hung in her fathers shed for a while - it didnt quite cut everything on the first (or second!) pass - will a new one do better ?
Lastly, I dont think these things are really worth $180 -$270 as some are advertised for...

They do a Nice Job of cutting grass if they are sharp. Much better then a Rotary as this type actually Cuts the Blades of Grass where as a Rotary whacks the grass and leaves a ragged cut. I had an Attachment for a Gravely which also cut as nice and it was a Sickle Blade-again it actually cut the grass instead of whacking it off. If you put the blades of grass under a Microscope you would see the difference. I would get that one sharpened and use it and also you would get a good workout as a Plus.
