I was thinking to go with stainless steel brake lines for all the benefits you stated but I read somewhere (most probably here) that over time they (stainless steel lines) tend to wear much much faster than the OEM lines. I know they uses it race cars but race cars also get pretty much rebuilt after a race. Also there was talk about the lines not being DOT approved.

I saw some in the Bekkers catalong listed for like $100.

Also the thing I'm looking for isn't to eliminate brake fade but for the feel of the brakes catching quicker than the stock feel. I don't like a lot of travel on the brake pedal since I left foot brake. I have found that I stop quicker (more force) but don't have the car nose dive everytime either. The only time I do that is when I spot a police car.
