yep the meth folks are cutting into the supply. there is a new "lye-like" product replacing it but i don't know about it. i called on the liquid lye but guess what......it is made with h20. not good for the process. you really need crystalized lye. the bio d now board listed a place in la grange illinois as a lye carrier.....www.boyercorporation.com. wodnek is also getting lye quoted from wausau chemicals of w. wi.
