I just opened my 91 560sel air filter and saw alot of oil on it..I picked it up and it was heavy from the oil...any suggestions....I am also changing it tomorrow....

also when I start it up in the morning..I hear a lifter....and my mechanic said not to worry ...I also bought some $20 additive that may help it..

any help would be appreciated..
