You generally need a compressor, or a pressure washer, or some condenser cleaner, or a combination of the three.
When you get done, you should be able to hold the radiator up to the sun and see clear through the tubes, without looking at any crap. I'll bet that the radiator is 50% clogged in the fins, if it has never been thoroughly cleaned.
Your temperatures will drop by 5°C. if you perform this procedure properly.

Wow, thank you. I will definately try that. Whats your best suggestion on reomving the radiator? Simple wrenches, or will it need a special tool? Thanks
