It's a Canadian car - that speedo and mileage is in KM. Nice machine but I bought an 83 (with much lower mileage) two months ago. My CEO would kill me if I picked up another (plus I have no where to park it).

I always cringe at the risks involved in buying a car through E-Bay. There are a couple of decent independent Mercedes shops here if you wanted someone to inspect it before you put in a major bid.

Lower mileage diesels seem to pop up more often in Ontario than they do in the US. If you are in the NE or midwest in the States, search www.autotrader.ca for Mercedes using "all of Ontario". There is often a 190 or a 300sd with less than 200,000 KMs available. Rust is the killer here thanks to excessive salt use in the winter.
