(thanks to one of the member of this forum).and the oild filter is right on top of the engine. I will test with my caR ML320 yrs 2002 then will let you know how it come out by c/o the oil filter at 7000 miles or will contact to Mobil company for more answer.
I don't think Mobil willing to take that risk enough to loose a good/big customer like BMW or MB.
One more thing, if the oil come out so diirty or you want to keep your engine run at the top notch of performance...How about flushing your engine every 60000 or 50000 miles? You will be suprpise to see what come out from your engine even you are c/o oil at 3000 miles.
