I want to hardwire my cellphone charger into what I hope is an available hot wire somewhere down within my center console, guessing under the area of the OEM knock-out plug for the factory phone (which mine is not fitted with). I'll tap the hot wire and ground into a stock cigar lighter socket so it can be used for other things when the cellphone is not plugged in.
What do I have to pry/kick/coax apart under the console lid to find a willing wire?
