Well, it seems that I may have been correct about the location of the second bolt (as shown in my image). After cussing at the car countless times, I've determined that it's nearly impossible to remove w/o taking out the exhaust manifold or A/C lines that are in the way. Even with air ratchets and ball-head hex sockets I could not get the bugger off. I decided to leave the bracket on.
Instead, I removed the p/s reservoir center rod w/ a vise-grip, and removed the 12mm hex nipple inside the reservoir (the nipple that the connecting feed hose culprit mounts on). I was able to pry out the old hose. I regret not degreasing the entire area before starting work - what a mess! Thanks to everyone who posted past tips.
