I'm an avid reader of AutoWeek, MotorTrend, Automobile, and Car/Driver and not once have I read about VW pulling the TDI from America.

I'd have a hard time believing it for two reasons - 1) they sell every TDI that comes here for full sticker and 2) every other manufacturer has stated that they'll start bringing diesels in 2008/09 (BMW, Lexus, Toy, Merc).

But then again, manufacturers do some goofy stuff for reasons that have nothing to do with logic.
