I doubt redesign, just re-equip with current Euro engine that is set up for low sulfer diesel. 2006 regs are kicking in now and hopefully soon all of our diesel with go from 500 PPM sulfer to <50 PPM sulfer as it is in Europe. The good in this is that it will open our country to all the excellent, high tech diesels they run in Europe - I would assume the good stuff from Honda and Toyota as well. The emmisions will be better and the 5 states that currently prohibit diesel sales will then allow them.

Who knows, maybe a diesel revolution will hi the US
