Confirm from your post that the right mount was the one replaced (looking from drivers seat). I will open the plastic base to have a better view today. I do not seem to be able to view the left mount from the bonnet? Is it exactly opposite side of the right mount?

Will the gearbox & its mounts be place with tremandous stress, over a long period? What are the signs of this?

How could the right mount be broken when it was replaced in Aug'05? The shop only had a rough look, could he be wrong, that its not only 1 mount need replacing? How much are they, do they come a set upon ordering?
