Funny? Yes, I suppose it is. I ran against a 73 450SEL and a new S430. I ran some good laps considering the rain. On my 4th timed lap (out of 4) I spun it around sideways at the end of the slalom but I only lost about 2 seconds total. My entire suspension has been rebuilt / aligned and I have 4 newer Michelins on it. I kept it in "L" and really did well. I think the fastest time of the day was in the low 40s and my fastest was 49.6 seconds. The 450 may have beat me on one run by about 3/10 of a second. whunter took photos and I will have a video sent to me sometime this week.

They said I lifted my rear wheel a couple of times, its not horse power that wins in an autocross, but skill.

I maxed out my ALDA (2 complete turns) and it still didn't smoke much at all. I didn't feel much of a difference either.
