OK, we're going to get nationwide TV to watch a re-enactment of the Chappaquidick scene, done at the same point in the tide cycle, and we'll have MM try to dive down and pull a dummy out of a sunken car.
I like to think I'd have gotten her out, but I hear that tidal estuaries can surprise even a strong swimmer.
The whole episode essentially put Joe Kennedy in his grave. TK is a seriously mixed bag, but it's not like this whole episode didn't occasion a little suffering on him as well as the young lady. Thank god no one else in our great land has ever screwed up and killed someone while driving.
