First I would probably try to get the SCSI working in the new computer, I'm cheap and hate to throw perfectly good stuff out.
BUT is it worth the time and effort, the SCSI drive is probably relatively small, and at what a drive IDE or SATA drive costs today.
Heck 70 bucks for a 300gb external
