Final chapter on my 'science fiction' story! But first, Stevebfl sent me another email which was very appropriate! He said:

There are a number of stop leaks that use technology that won't clog radiators or reduce their thermal conductivity. The BAR's stuff is supposed to be that way. I personally wouldn't use it in anything I had long term plans for, though.

AND BESIDES, think about it. You do not have a cooling system leak, you have an oil system leak! The best of the stop leaks only seal as they pass to air (oxygen). That surely isn't happening here and if you wanted to try the other concept of filling the hole with fibers then they would have to be introduced through the oil.

This morning, sealed up the system and put in AF/water mixture to 40/60%. Yes, and one can of Water Wetter. Optimistic wasn't I?

It didn't work! You didn't think it would, did you? Still have the same oil droplets in the coolant! Would have been nice, but what do you expect from snake oil?

Next step is not 'science fiction' but good old fashioned hard labor; new head gaskets!
