My 90 sdl weeps oil on the round side of the crossover tube. BB fell into egr vac tube months ago. That leaves the Turbo and valve cover vent as the only sources of oil. Neighbor's kid (into evos) says he can put a catch can in to catch all the oil from the valve cover.
This morning on the way to the airport my low oil light comes on.
I keep an eye on the oil pressure but press on.
Few miles later the oil pressure is reading 2 at 60mph...I shut her down and pull over and the whole engine compartment is full of oil...the dipstick raised up on the tube.
5 qts gets me a reading on the dipstick.
An oil change and removal of IDIOTIC catch can and it looks like I am okay....no leaks (60 miles)...but have I done damage?

Plus is I discovered the vac tube from turbo to wastegate is torn...the surging at full throttle and oil leak at round side of crossover is gone. The top bolt to my belt shock had fallen off...replaced.
