Need to replace Head Gasket on 109E 2.6L

Some one who works for my dad has a 1992 109E 2.6 and its head gasket is leaking. They asked if I could fix it. I have never had or worked on a benz before so I know nothing about them. Im guessing from the year that its a inline six and sohc?

Im just asking if anyone knows where a good how-to is. Or just how hard is it on these cars? I don't REALLY need a how-to since I've changed all of my cars hg's when ever I get them along with all the other seals except on my K20, I get my buddy to do that. But the thing is I only know how to time a sohc car so if its dohc Im basically screwed.

Also with all my other head gaskets they cost between $60-$100 and the bolts for ARP's are about $4.50 each. Mainy problem is I'll probably have to change the cam seal, valve cover, valves, valve seals and probably a **** load of other stuff once I get the head off. Another question is can I just use a timing gun to time the car? Or will it be a bastard?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
