B2 piston cover leak.. I think?
Ok, I will admit that this post is a bit premature, as I have not jacked the car up yet... But The b2 piston was just changed (by me) last month, and the drip is comming from above the oil pan.... So after I calmed down and started to think about how or where the leak could be comming from, I realized that the B2 piston cover does not really have a gasket, other than an thin (was it reddish?) band that goes around the bore...
I am wearing thin on interest, for repairing automatic transmissions.. It should have been a easy job last month, but I managed to be a bit of a dufus, and got to take the thing apart more times than I care to admit,or remember. Therefore, If anyone has some kind words for my brused ego, so that I may move on and address the problem, rather than have this silly reoccuring day dream to put a manual transmission in, and be done with the pesky slushbox (which works perfectly well, mind you).
