O.K.- so i looked at another benz this weekend. pretty nice car- only 151,000 0n the clock, if the odometer works. didnt get a chance to drive it, been parked a year or so and is a storage unit now. owner parked because it was "acting up" what ever that means- fuel filters would be my first step, i think.
any how my main ? is how much of a differernce in power is there between a turbo and non turbo? i believe this engine is in the same family as my 300td, correct. I am a greaser, so i would be looking to replace the wifes gasser w/ this vehicle. ( of course, she would get the wagon, and I this car
) so, i am getting out of my speed racer age, but dont really want a slug of a car. car is in good shape, except the r rear corner got creased by somebody, and i cant really see the interior,as it is being used as a storage unit. it is way nicer than the 83 300d(turbo,of course) that i was looking at in the same price range, plus has 115,000 less miles. of course they are both brown, not the wifes favorite color
